I've added seven more new sites to the Blogs around the World post:
Three Kuwait-based blogs, Live from Kuwait, qHate.com (mostly) and Simply Stinni;
The Russian Dilettante;
another Germany-based blog, Eamonn Fitzgerald's Rainy Day; and
two blogs based in Trinidad & Tobago, Nicholas Laughlin's blog etc. and Notes from a small island.
In addition, Farrago has created a similar post with a different focus. At present, there's much overlap between our lists, but I expect that they will diverge. CLICK
Again, I'm still eagerly seeking suggested additions.
Happy reading.

Hi, OJr,
I think that while there are so few bloggers in certain countries, there will be an overlap. But, these will certainly be growing and evolving projects and I think you are right, in time the overlap will fade away.
I guess that as we find more appropriate blogs for our lists that have somewhat different purposes, we'll be changing/growing the lists and they will eventually be quite different.
Good luck with your search and pop in often - take what you like!

Farrago:
Ascension Island or Nauru?
I'll certainly be visiting your list. I imagine that we can each make the other's task somewhat easier.
Regards.
Posted by: Oscar Jr. at 08:27 AMThanks for detecting and adding my blog. Occasionally I run a Google search for its title -- that's how I found out I'm on the list.
There's a RAF base on the Ascension Island, so I wouldn't be too surprised if someone starts a blog while stationed there.
