Wow, offline for a couple of days, I return to see that Messrs. Blair, Penny and Verdon have all relocated to fancier, non-BlogSpotty digs. Time to update the massive blogroll.

BlogSpot is like training wheels (not an original insight, I think) allowing people a free and initially easy way to see if they enjoy the hobby and will stick with it. For that, it definitely serves a valuable function.

If the answer to all of the above is yes, then I'll move myself to a dedicated server and get a spiffy new domain name.
The reason I didn't go with BlogSpot is all the problems I had reading sites hosted there. Lots of down time, lots of technical problems. It just didn't seem like a good idea.

As for your site, I can attest that you meet the second and third, though I haven't had much time for reading of late. I hope you continue to enjoy the hobby.
