Quote of the Day

Victor Davis Hanson on NRO on the State of the Union speech:

Where the president is great the opposition is pathetic; and where he is on weak ground, they are still weaker — as evidenced by the collective ankle biting of Dean, Clark, and Kerry and the responses of Nancy Pelosi and Tom Daschle.

Watching the Pelosi and Daschle responses was almost painful. They looked confused and confounded--helped along by the fact that they wrote those responses well before seeing the actual speech.

I still say that Bush's toughest critics (that is, the most meaningful and reasonable, not the most attack oriented) come from the right and not the left.

I agree with you on both counts, Zombyboy. What's up with this Pelosi quote:

America must be a light to the world, not just a missile.

Huh?

I think somebody read one too many issues of "New Age Magazine".
