Because Zombyboy Asked

Since he asked:

Random 10 Albums Selected from my collection ( I covered my eyes and chose):

1. Matthew Sweet, Girlfriend
2. Face to Face
3. Crimpshrine, Duct Tape Soup
4. Fiona Apple, Tidal
5. Built to Spill, Keep it Like a Secret
6. Sneaker Pimps, Becoming X
7. They Might Be Giants, Flood
8. The Beloved, Happiness
9. Less than Jake, Pezcore
10. Lush, Spooky

What is the total amount of music filed on your computer?

Uhhh.. This may explain my lack of posting: I don't have my own computer other than my old MAC 540C which is collecting dust in my closet.

The Last CD you bought is:

Mr. T Experience (MTX), Yesterday Rules. But that was a Christmas gift for Oscar. I think the last CDs I bought for myself were replacements of the soundtracks to Magnolia and The Virgin Suicides.

What is the last song you listened to before this message?

Well, when I saw Zombyboy's post, I was listening to the girls I work with complain. I went home and pulled some CDs from my collection. I listened to Lush's Spooky which I realized I hadn't listened to in ages. Now, while I'm typing this at Oscar's house, I'm listening to Mission of Burma and The Buck Pets.

Five songs that I listen to a lot:

1) Screaming Trees, "I Nearly Lost You"
2) The Cramps, "Garbage Man"
3) Man or AstroMan?, " Destination Venus"
4) Belle & Sebastian, "The State That I Am In"
5) REM, " Night Swimming"
6) Björk, "Army of Me" or "Hyper Ballad" (poor Oscar)
7) Talking Heads, "Once in a Lifetime"
8) Sister, "Seven Seconds"

(I know that's more than 5 but I often listen to a lot of songs.)

Extra Added Bonus: The Most Embarrassing CD in my collection which I was seriously scared about pulling it out in the first 10:

C.W.A. = Cheeseheads With Attitude, Say Cheese:
1. Wisconsin Spoken Word
2. Talkin Packers With Me
3. Back To the Superbowl
4. Kick it/Pass it/Catch it/
5. I Love Eating Cheese
6. Packer Bar Song.

Yes, it's embarrassing, but I'm a DORK. What can I say?

If anyone is interested, I will update with more information about my selections.

Update:

Sorry, I forgot. People I'd like to pass this on to:
Oscar: PLEEEAASE!
Rae: Because I (too) was curious (but she already did.)
Jay & Deb...
My Sister Idgie: Who will have to post here, since she does not have her own site (yet), but we would be interested because she has fabulous taste.
My favorite Wisconsonite blogger: Sean Hackbarth.
